Halfway through

Everything seems so awesomely awesome at this awesome place.
From the initial 10 weeks to an extended 12 weeks, from the initial single project to 2 more additional responsibilities, from the Singapore desk to having a chance to present to the regional colleagues, opportunities for newbies like us are aplenty in this place. This awesome place.
I'm beyond grateful to have KW as my mentor, whom is always so fun-loving, patient, non-authoritative and father-liked. He taught me how to excel in a large corporate environment: “there’re indeed many redtapes and restrictions in any organisation and we can bitch about them. But instead of Just Bitching, more importantly, people want to see what you can DO to improve on the current situation and make things happen.” And also, “always start from the pit bottom and get your hands dirty with the dirty jobs, while you still can and still have the energy to.”
Just one day after sharing with him my interest in the marketing and business development fields, albeit airy-fairy at this stage, not only he guided me in terms of finding a suitable role to fit my aspirations, but also invited me to sit in with him for a meeting and bestowed an opportunity to create something new for the department!
It will be a make-it-or-break-it chance for me to create my own legacy and do something significant enough to contribute to the company (upon successful outcome, there may be a chance to be implemented world-wide).
The sexiest part is, I am only an intern.
And my adrenaline rushed to yet another threshold when I saw:
xxxxxxx, person in charge: Christina Gao.
Awesome.
I have to deliver, and I WILL deliver.
